CR2 batteries are small 3 volt lithium cells used in laser rangefinders, compact flashlights, some red dot sights, cameras and plenty of other gear hunters carry. They're disposable, hold their charge a long time in storage and keep working in the cold better than alkaline cells.
We carry the Tenergy CR2 10 Pack, so you can keep spares in your truck, your pack and your range bag instead of finding out at first light that your rangefinder is dead.
A CR2 battery is about 15 mm wide and 27 mm long. That makes it shorter and thinner than a CR123A, so the two won't swap even though both run at 3 volts. Check the battery door or manual on your device and look for CR2 specifically. If it calls for a CR123A or 16340, shop our 16340 battery category instead.
Buying a 3V CR2 lithium battery in a 10 pack means you have spares on hand for every device that takes them. Store them at room temperature in their packaging so the contacts don't touch keys or coins. Batteries can't be returned, so double-check the size before you order.
Size. Both are 3 volt lithium cells, but a CR2 is about 15 mm by 27 mm and a CR123A is about 17 mm by 34.5 mm. They won't fit the same battery compartment, so buy the size printed on your device or in its manual.
It powers small electronics that need a compact, long-lasting 3 volt source. Hunters run CR2 cells in many laser rangefinders, some lights and older cameras. Lithium chemistry gives them a long shelf life and better cold-weather performance than alkaline cells of a similar size.
You can. Our Tenergy CR2 10 Pack ships free to any US address, and orders shipped outside Illinois pay no sales tax. Ordering a multipack online is usually easier than hunting for single cells at a store the night before opening day.
Many hardware and big box stores carry CR2 cells, often in singles or two-packs, and stock varies from store to store. If you run a rangefinder or light that goes through them, a 10 pack keeps spares on hand. Batteries can't be returned, so confirm the size first.
