Tenergy batteries are the primary lithium cells we keep on the shelf for gear that takes CR123A or CR2. These Tenergy lithium batteries are single-use cells, not rechargeables, so you can drop them in a light, red dot or rangefinder and go without worrying about a charger at camp.
What we carry from Tenergy
The Tenergy CR123A lithium battery comes in a 4-pack and each cell has PTC protection, a safety feature that limits current if a cell overheats or shorts. CR123A is a common size in weapon lights, IR illuminators and some night vision and thermal devices. Look in your manual or the battery door before you order.
The Tenergy CR2 10-pack covers the smaller CR2 size used by many laser rangefinders and compact sights. Ten cells is enough to keep spares in the truck, the pack and the gun case.
A Tenergy battery is also a good backup for a rechargeable setup. Even if you run rechargeable cells most nights, a few sealed lithium cells in your pack can save a hunt when a charged cell dies early in the cold.
