Frequently Asked Questions
Can an 18650 battery be 9900mAh?
No. A genuine 18650 cell tops out around 3,500mAh with current chemistry, so 9900mAh labels are inflated. Buy cells from sellers who list real specs. Your AGM Clarion runs on NE-4400 batteries, and this protector keeps those spares clean and their terminals covered.
Which 18650 batteries are of good quality?
Look for cells from known manufacturers with honest ratings, usually somewhere between 2,500 and 3,500mAh, and check whether your device needs flat-top, button-top or protected cells. However good the cell, carrying it loose risks a short, and that is what a holder like this one prevents.
