Premium Performance and Sensitivity
The heart of the Nocpix ACE S60R thermal scope is a 12μm thermal sensor with a resolution of 1280x1024 and a NETD rating of 15mK or better. Reality+ Imaging Algorithm

This advanced thermal imaging algorithm helps to eliminate environmental temperature noise, which reduces the “fuzziness” of the thermal image on the display, resulting in a clearer, sharper, more detailed sight picture with less interference.

A Built-in LRF
The ACE S60R is not alone in this, but it does leverage the performance of a built-in laser rangefinder, or LRF, which enables accurate range estimations at up to 1200m, and which offers true optical axis alignment.
As with other scopes equipped with laser rangefingers, this model enables confident and precise range estimates so you can take more accurate shots in the field.
Ocular Zoom
This is actually a huge selling point of this Nocpix thermal scope, as not all thermal optics support optical zoom. Whereas some only support digital zoom which results in distortion and pixelation off the sight picture, the ACE S60R actually supports true optical zoom, like a conventional glass scope.
This is due to this thermal scope’s Vision+ system that utilizes true ocular zoom that prevents blurring and which maintains a high quality sight picture that is detailed, sharp and clear, particularly when compared to comparable e-zoom.
That said, the Nocpix ACE S60R does also support digital zoom for identifying or engaging far-off targets, up to 24x, so you get your choice of which to choose, depending on the range.
Durable Construction
High-performance in a thermal rifle scope in one thing but the value delivered will be severely limited if the scope does not perform well under adverse conditions. After all, we do hunt in the field, and not under a covered bench at a range, much less at an indoor range.
The point is that a thermal scope should be able to shoulder the conditions that you face when you’re out there, and these could be varied. The ACE S60R supports 7 color palettes, including red hot, white hot, red hot, violet, color, and two color palettes that some might find especially useful in the dark: viridian and crimson.
Crimson in particular as a color palette for a thermal imaging device can be useful because it enables the preservation of night vision in the viewing eye, helping to prevent not only discomfort but the unpleasant condition known as “night blindness”.
