Dark Night Outdoors (DNO) Tactical Eyecup for the Trijicon Hunter-IR Series eyecup incorporates a couple nice features for this series of thermals. It has a shutter door that opens giving full view of the screen when you push into the eye cup. when released it closes to conceal light from the screen, which can reflect back giving away your location before you get a shot off! the shutter also assists in keeping the lens clean and clear from dust, dirt & debris. This eye cup also comes with a focus ring for the Diopter, which makes it easier to focus. The tactical eye cup is made from a soft rubber that will not stiffen up in cold weather and will not get flimsy in warm weather. This is a great must have accessory!
Installation Instructions: Both the Eye cup and Focus Ring is a tight fit to prevent movement. The Focus ring needs to be installed first, I recommend turning on the scope, and focusing the diopter ring before installing the eye cup. when installing the eye cup, push it all the way up to the Focus ring. this will help keep the focus ring from inadvertently being moved. Keeping you in focus! The Tactical eye cup slides on and is a friction fit. Over time if installed and removed frequently the eye cup may become loose. We designed this to be a friction fit so there is no modification necessary to the scope nor will it scratch or damage the scope itself, so it does not void the warranty.

Please Note:
- These tactical eye cups DO NOT install in the same grove as the OEM eye cups.
- Full view of Screen is visible when using this eye cup
- Shutter can be removed by cutting them out and is easy to do with any exacto knife.
- Eye cup and Focus ring are a tight friction fit and can be difficult to install the first time
- If the eye cup is installed and removed frequently it can become loose.
