Pulsar thermal optics cover just about every way a hunter uses heat imaging: riflescopes, handheld scanners and binoculars, plus the batteries and mounts that keep them running. We carry more than 60 Pulsar products, so here is how the lines break down.
The Thermion 2 is Pulsar's flagship riflescope line. It records video onboard, streams over Wi-Fi, and Pulsar rates the Thermion for detecting heat signatures out to 2400 yards. Choose from XG, XL, XP and XQ models in 35, 50 and 60mm, many with LRF, such as the Thermion 2 LRF XP50 Pro and LRF XG60. The Talion XG35 and XQ38 are the compact scope option.
For a Pulsar thermal scanner, the Axion series is small and light, with or without a laser rangefinder. The Telos series gives you longer battery life and a sharper picture, in XG50, XL50, XP50 and XQ35 versions with or without LRF. The Oryx LRF XG35 is a lightweight handheld at a lower cost.
If you glass with both eyes, the Merger LRF binoculars have a large viewing screen for comfortable long sits, and the Symbion LRF DXR50 pairs thermal binoculars with an integrated rangefinder for scouting and tracking.
Keep spares on hand with APS 2, 3 and 5 packs (the APS 2 and 3 are the Pulsar Thermion battery), IPS batteries and the LPS 7i Pulsar battery pack. Compare brands in thermal scopes and thermal monoculars and binoculars.
Pulsar thermal optics are made by Yukon Advanced Optics Worldwide, the company behind the Pulsar brand. It builds the full range we carry, from the Thermion 2 riflescopes to the Axion and Telos monoculars and the Merger binoculars. Warranty claims go through Pulsar, and we help you reach them.
No. Pulsar is a European brand, and its thermals are designed and built in Lithuania. That has no effect on how you buy one from us: we ship free to US addresses, there is no sales tax outside Illinois, and Pulsar's manufacturer warranty covers each unit.
Pulsar's parent company is headquartered in Vilnius, Lithuania. Here in the US you can buy Pulsar thermal scopes, monoculars, binoculars and batteries from Dark Night Outdoors in Milan, Illinois, and talk to real people who use this gear. Call us at (309) 781-8421 with questions about a model.
It depends on how you hunt. The Thermion 2 is Pulsar's flagship riflescope, and the Talion is the compact scope option. For scanning, the Axion is small and light, while the Telos gives you longer battery life and a sharper picture. If you glass with both eyes, look at the Merger LRF binoculars.
Yes. LRF in a Thermion 2 name means a laser rangefinder is built in, so you can range a coyote without a second device. We carry LRF models such as the Thermion 2 LRF XP50 Pro and LRF XG60. Thermion models without LRF in the name don't have one.
A Pulsar thermal is a heat imaging optic from Pulsar that shows animals by their body heat, day or night. The lineup covers riflescopes like the Thermion 2 and Talion, handheld monoculars like the Axion, Telos and Oryx, and the Merger and Symbion binoculars. We carry more than 60 Pulsar products, batteries included.
