Our battery holders are made from an almost indestructible Carbon Fiber Reinforced nylon material that is very durable and temperature stable, this cutting-edge material helps insulate the battery from the cold, unlike aluminum and steel constructed mounts.
Small bumps and snags can lead to broken scope ports and are the most common repair on thermal scopes. This can be very expensive with long down times waiting for repairs. All Dark Night Outdoor Exteranl battery kits include a short 1.5' magnetic disconnect cable that helps protect the USB port on your scope.
