Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Big Dawg tripod good value for money?
Look at what comes in the box. The Big Dawg ships with the 75mm leveling base, a top plate that takes Arca-Swiss or Picatinny, rubber and steel spiked feet, and a padded case, so you aren't buying those separately. It's rated for 175 lbs and carries a lifetime warranty.
Does the Big Dawg take Arca-Swiss or Manfrotto plates?
It's built around Arca-Swiss. The integrated top plate on the leveling base clamps Arca-Swiss plates or a Picatinny rail with no adjustment, which covers most rifle rails hunters use. Manfrotto-style quick release plates aren't listed for it. Call us at (309) 781-8421 if you want to check a plate before ordering.
