The "BIG DAWG" 2-Section Inverted Carbon Fiber Tripod w/Leveling base is an excellent choice for any firearms that need rock-solid support for AR style or full-length bolt action rifles. The robust load capacity also makes it suitable for use with extreme spotting scopes. The new "BIG DAWG" features a knurled-bar angle stop design which allows for one handed operation as well as leg tubes which do not cross, and no more reaching between your legs to adjust!
The carbon fiber legs are inverted - Fat Leg at the bottom, for added stability and incredibly quick full collapse and deployment. The legs feature extremely strong 10x layers of carbon fiber, and durable twist-lock joints, individual spread and three available locking positions making it possible to achieve the proper level even when on uneven terrain. This lightweight (just over 5.5 Lbs) tripod is made more versatile by having an interchangeable 75mm Platforms to accomodate Leveling Base (Included), Ball Heads, and Center Columns (optional).
The StableX comes topped with the ever popular and convenient Leveling Base. The 75mm diameter assures it will handle even the largest boom sticks keeping you stable and on target! Our Leveling base requires only one hand and a 1/4 turn to adjust in any direction with no reaching inbetween legs! the leveling base can be adjusted to allow smooth operation and keep your rifle stable with no adjustment. The Dark Night Outdoors modified grip allows you to pull in your rifle and create even more stability by allowing solid shooting and rifle techniques with minimal movement keeping you hidden from your prey.
