Frequently Asked Questions
What yardage should you zero the OWS-32 at?
Zero it at the distance you shoot most. Many hunters set a sight like this at 50 yards on a rifle and closer on a shotgun used for turkeys or brush. The OWS-32 comes with an Infitac zeroing tool, and its parallax-free design keeps the reticle on target even when your head isn't centered.
Are Infitac optics any good?
Judge this one by what it is built to do. The OWS-32 is rated IP67, built for .338 Win Mag and 12-gauge recoil, and rated for 1500 hours of battery life, with InstaWake so it is on when you move. It also ships with two rechargeable CR123A cells and a charger. Infitac covers it under its manufacturer's warranty, and we help you reach them.
Is the OWS-32 a thermal red dot?
No, it is not a thermal sight. The OWS-32 is an optical waveguide sight, a daytime reflex-style optic with night vision compatible settings, so it won't show heat on its own. If you want to see warm animals in the dark, look at our thermal scopes. Note this sight is a pre-order, and pre-orders are non-refundable.
