Our battery holders are made from an almost indestructible Carbon Fiber Reinforced nylon material that is very durable and temperature stable, this cutting-edge material helps insulate the battery from the cold, unlike aluminum and steel constructed mounts.

All Dark Night Outdoor Exteranl battery kits include a short 1.5' magnetic disconnect cable that helps protect the USB port on your scope.
