*** Part you will receive is black in color*** Gray color is for contrast only in the pictures. This part is made from a carbon fiber infused nylon and is extremely durable with a solid core.
This part replaces the center section of a Mod Armory Bridge assembly. It utilizes the original Mod Armory parts with the exception of the center section. No additional parts are required.
When an IRAY RH25, Falcon PFN640 or RL25 equipped with the IRAY AC-52 Pictail shoe or the SBR aftermarket shoe is paired with a PVS14 this replacement bridge section provides a 0.6" rear offset which places the Iray Mini and the PVS14 equal distance from your eyes. (The SBR shoe should be very close but may be slightly off.) This brings the eye relief of the two units closer together and also helps eliminate any potential contact with a tactical helmet.
The PVS 14 must be equipped with the proper mount for left or right application. (not included).
Mod Armories Pupillary Eye Distance (PED) on their bridge is 2" and it works well with dual PVS 14's due to having a round image that isn't affected by rotation. Thermal units have a square viewing screen so it's nice to have the units level. The average adults pupillary eye distance is 2.5 inches. This replacement center bridge section has a pupillary eye distance of 2.4" which is closer to the average adults. This allows the thermal units screens to be very close to level without having to rotate the units left or right and it leaves some leeway for adjustment.
This replacement bridge section can be easily reversed for right or left-hand placement of the mini RH25, Falcon or RL25 over either eye.
A complete Mod Armory bridge assembly is required. All parts with the exception of the center section are transferred from the Mod Armory assembly. A longer 1/2” 8/32 cap screw is provided for the reattachment of the center shoe.
