We found the OEM rubber lens cap to be difficult to install, especially in cold weather and there is no good place to store the cap when using the scope. We designed a flip open cap that solves all these issues. Firs we started with a well known and proven flip- open cap by Buttler Creek and then we modified it to fit perfectly on all the 25mm Bering Optics scopes. It is also designed to not interfere with the Focus ring or any focus lever you may currently have. Our flip-open cap also stays stationary when rotating the focus ring so the cap is not rotating when focusing. So, "Cut the Cord" (or cable in this case) and install our modified flip open cap.
